С первого выпуска SampleRadar прошел уже год. За это время они выпустили огромное многообразие различных сэмплов во многих направлениях, но сегодняшний выпуск не случайно дабстэповый, первый выпуск был именно этого жанра.
Все сэмплы данного выпуска отличного качества отсортированы и находятся в папках со своего типа: Beats, FX, Loops and Percussive FX.

Glyn over at ProKits has offered a few free downloads for ACB readers. ProKits is an online resource for custom-made, individual and unique sample kits in formats like Native Instruments Kontakt and Battery. Here’s a few descriptions of their sample kits from Glyn:
Grainy
This instrument is a granular synthesis pad machine created in Kontakt using devious scripting to firing thousands of tiny ‘blips’ at your ears at random. The frequency of the effect can be controlled using the mod-wheel and the custom interface has additional controls for release-time, choral layer volume and distortion. The whole effect created a texture that can go from sonar-ping blippy to the Russian red army chorus to a desert wind howling in the night.Wooden Frog
A Kontakt instrument created from the humble little wooden percussion frog. A wide selection of sounds were recorded at different velocity levels, with alternate sounds triggered in round-robin fashion, for a very expressive instrument (over 40 samples), going all the way from the frog’s natural range to a pitched-down bass thud.The Kontakt script has knobs for tuning the sounds, and the mod-wheel brings in an impulse reverb. The reverb is based on an impulse made by my very own acoustic-space modeling program, and is not available anywhere else.

Free Loops – Synthetic Vortices

These loops are the work of sound designer/ Ambient musician Brent Reiland. Using only an Ensoniq Fizmo, a Great River preamp, and years of know-how, Brent crafted some of his most original, cutting edge sounds to date. These performances were then painstakingly edited to form seamless atmospheric loops. These loops are not forced into a grid, but are instead cut to various lengths to match the ebb and flow of the evolving soundscapes. This is why these loops are available only in wav and sfz formats. The sfz mappings have the added benefit of having amplifier eg controls, and high and low pass resonant filters with their own LFOs, all controllable via midi CC numbers.

Free Loops – Swing Jazz Drums

This package forms our largest single collection of drum loops (over 420). Recorded using a minimal setup to capture the intimate but roomy sound of pioneering engineers like Tom Dowd; using vintage Slingerland drums, with traditional reinforcement rings and completely unmuffled heads; accented by vintage old world Zildian cymbals featuring an exquisite sizzle ride; and performed by a man who as a child was not given dinner unless his instructors were satisfied with has ability to swing each lesson properly, these loops are a must have.
